Sophie was born May 6, 2006, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge October 17, 2024.
Sophie came into our lives to help heal a little girl’s heart after losing her daddy. I chose her from a photo and knew instantly that she was the one I wanted for my Hayley, and that turned out to be the best decision.
Sophie became a mom to 2 litters of kittens and was the best big sister of Chloe (2015) Phin (2016) and I know that my 8-yr old cat, Peanut, will surely miss her. She loved to sit on the back of my chair and bite my head, just because she could. Chin scratches were her favorite as were the ice cubes I put in her water bowl.
This past year she developed breast cancer, and we decided that she was going to live out her days in peace and as much comfort as we could supply. Sophie loved sitting on the hot concrete during the days and she spent her last year on her very own heating pad that never shut off, if it did, she would start meowing to let you know. She knew dinner time was at 3:00 and she never let you forget it either. You could set a clock by her stomach.
My heart is broken but I know you are free from pain now; I will love and miss you always Soph.
