Smokey Lyons

Smokey, or better known by all that love him, as Little Sausages or Mr. Bites, was arguably more loyal than most dogs let alone other cats.  

From his birth it was apparent that he was going to have problems growing up as he had issues with his spine that made his back half less functional than his front but that didn’t stop him from making friends with our other pets (family) or playing his heart out. He stopped growing early compared to other cats almost as if he was forever stuck between a kitten and a cat which was reflected in his child like amazement as he saw new things and tried new things. If he wasn’t laying with his dad in his lap, he was cuddling the other animals and loving them.

He was a cat so full of love and happiness it was a shock to wake up to him unresponsive. He fought to come back to this world it seems just to comfort us all before his final passing that’s left a hole in our family’s heart. He will always be loved and missed by those who had the amazing opportunity to know him. At barely more than a year old he left us all too soon. But in the short time he was with us he left us with memories we will never forget and could never be replaced. Goodbye till next time sweet baby. We love you and we will always miss you.
