Maddie Jo Wilson

Maddie Jo, our beloved companion, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 15. Surrounded by the family who loved her dearly, she left this world just as she lived in it—deeply cherished and endlessly adored.

She was her mom’s pride and joy. To her dad, she was the ultimate snacking buddy—especially when candy corn was involved. Maddie loved car rides, but nothing compared to her favorite adventures in the side-by-side. She loved laying on the front porch and watching over her farm.

She never missed a doggy birthday party, and everyone always knew when Maddie Jo arrived—her signature three barks made sure of that, especially if mom stepped out of sight.

She was the last of her litter, and her passing marks the end of a beautiful chapter.

Each night ended the same—with her mom patting her bottom and saying with affection, “smack her butt.”

Until we meet again, sweet Maddie Jo…”smack her butt.”
