Jade Brown

Our sweet Jade crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 17th at the age of 16, after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. She left peacefully in my arms at home, with my husband, Ryan, right by our side.

Jade was a High Street stray turned royalty, who had many adoring fans. My friend/roommate and I were 19 when she came into our lives, and I made it my mission to make sure Jade liked me best. I had no idea she would actually end up being my soul cat. 

Jade was with me through every stage of my adult life, and more than happily adopted Ryan when he came along. She lived out her days lounging in sun spots, terrorizing our feet, and manipulating us for cheese and other delicacies.  

How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. We already miss you so much, Jader. And we love you to the moon and back again.
